DESIRE FOR A STRAIGHT LINE The new CD is the usual PRESTER JOHN mixed bag of styles, it is all instrumental (the vocal follow up is planned for...well let's be honest, within the next 12 months) and it's great! Challenging yet accessible; varied yet cohesive; smart and whimsical. I'm very happy with this CD. All sixteen tracks offer something unique. Need some points of reference? J.S. Bach meets Frank Zappa; David Grisman and Tony Rice play Igor Stravinsky and Danny Elfman; Friday Night in San Francisco with a mandolin. The digital release will be available from all the on-line retailers: iTunes, Amazon, etc. July 27th, the physical disc is available directly from us now.
