Yes that is THE Mt. Everest and me playing in front of it. Rongbuk monastery, Tibet, about 3 mile from base camp.. There is not much else to say about this shot except, "WOW!"
There is so much to tell about this trip. Unfortunately my homepage was down for 3 months of the tour so I could not write about it. Ugh! But my wife kept a blog.
